4 Injured, Business Damaged In Nassau County Crash: Police
Two vehicles collided, according to police, with one leaving the roadway and striking a commercial building.

BALDWIN, NY — Several people were injured in a collision that ended with an SUV crashing into a commercial building Saturday in Baldwin, according to police.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m., when a 2005 Honda CRV and a 2016 Kia Forte collided at Grand and Stanton avenues, sending the Honda off the roadway and into the commercial structure in the 1600 block of Grand Avenue, Nassau County police said.
The driver of the Honda, a 26-year-old man, and his two passengers, a 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, all suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital, according to police. A passenger in the Kia, a 26-year-old woman, had minor injuries and was transported to a hospital as well, police said.

The exterior glass of the structure was damaged, according to police, who said a Hempstead building inspector responded to the scene.
