HEMPSTEAD, NY. — The search is on for a missing 82-year-old man Tuesday after police said he was reported missing at 11:15 a.m. Nassau County police said 82-year-old Luis Valle was last seen in Hempstead, with his possible destination unknown. Police described Valle as a Hispanic man standing about 5-feet, 2-inches, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt and black jeans at the time he last seen, police said. Police have encouraged anyone with information on Valle's whereabouts to contact missing persons at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
