ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Police Department released its weekly report Monday, detailing arrests and incidents that took place in the village over the prior week.

On June 8 at 12:22 p.m., 29-year-old West Babylon resident Bianca Bonilla-Almendares was arrested after she was found driving with a suspended license on North Long Beach Road, police said. Bonilla-Almendares is charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic offenses, police said.

On June 8 at 6:30 p.m., a Grand Avenue woman said someone had used her credit card information in an attempt to fraudulently purchase Starbucks gift cards, police said.

On June 8 at 9:08 p.m., a Lynbrook woman said “several youths” were shooting a gel gun near Lister Field, police said.

On June 9 at 9:27 a.m., a Temple B’nai Shalom staff member said crude graffiti had been drawn on the temple’s playground in chalk, police said.

On June 10 at 10:19 a.m., a Rockville Centre School District employee reported that someone had set a fire on the field turf at Hewlitt Elementary School, police said.

On June 10 at 11:32 a.m., a Baldwin woman said someone had altered and cashed a check she had mailed, police said.

On June 10 at 10:55 p.m., a Washington Street resident said they had received several threatening calls and texts from an unknown number, police said.

On June 14 at 1:23 p.m., 38-year-old Cedarhurst resident Celeste Corzo was arrested and charged with DWI after a car crash at the intersection of Merrick Road and Lincoln Avenue, police said.
