HEMPSTEAD, NY — An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead Sunday night after he was found with puncture wounds outside a Hempstead apartment building, police said.
Nassau County police said officers responded to a Fulton Avenue apartment building at 9:25 p.m. Sunday, finding the unidentified teen with puncture wounds in his torso upon arrival. The teen was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead by a physician there, police said.
Monday morning, police said the investigation into the teenager’s death was ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the incident was encouraged to call crime stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911.
