UNIONDALE, NY — A 13-year-old boy was reported missing this week after he was seen running away from the Nassau County Social Services Administration building, police said.
Nassau County police said 13-year-old Jayden Orellana-Melendez was last seen at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday and reported missing 40 minutes later. According to police, Orellana-Melendez was last seen wearing a black sports jacket with a high collar, brown and blue plaid pants and red, white and black sneakers. Police described the teen as a Hispanic boy, standing 5-feet, 2-inches, weighing 120 lbs.
According to police, the boy spends significant time in and around Oceanside. Police have requested anyone with information on his whereabouts contact missing persons at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
