HEMPSTEAD, NY — Two men and a 17-year-old have been charged with murder in connection with the June 28 death of Hempstead resident Michael David Grajeda Suazao, Nassau County police announced Saturday.
According to police, 21-year-old Denis A. Gonzalez Sorto, 20-year-old Isaac Lopez Alvarez and an unnamed 17-year-old were arrested and arraigned on second-degree murder charges Saturday, Aug. 1.
Police said Grajeda Suazo was found with puncture wounds in his torso the night of June 28, at about 9:25 p.m. Upon discovery, he was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
Per court records, both Sorto and Alvarez pleaded not guilty to the murder charge Saturday and were remanded.
