The owner is targeting retailers and restaurant operators, with leasing underway now and completion expected next year, potentially reshaping a key stretch of the village's commercial core.
   

• Driver Seriously Injured When Vehicle Strikes Rear of Box Truck (lilifepolitics.com) — A Rockville Centre man driving a box truck was injured in a serious early-morning crash on Broadhollow Road in East Farmingdale, when a Nissan pickup struck the truck from behind. He and another passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the Nissan's driver was seriously hurt, and Suffolk County police are asking witnesses to come forward.
