Aperitif Bistro Lounge Wine Bar Offers $24.95 Long Island Restaurant Week Prix Fixe

Aperitif Bistro Lounge Wine Bar (240-242 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, NY 11570 [516] 594-3404), Rockville Centre’s first French bistro, is participating in the Long Island Restaurant Week from Sunday, November 6 through Sunday, November 13.  A three-course $24.95 prix fixe menu will be offered for dinner Sunday starting at 4 p.m. and Monday through Friday starting at 5 p.m.  Tax and gratuity is additional.  The menu is as follows:

APPETIZER SELECTIONS

*Sage Salad

Mixed greens with feta cheese, plum tomatoes, candied walnuts, balsamic vinaigrette

*Brie Cheese On Toast

Served with frisee lettuce, apple, beets, raspberry dressing

*Seafood cake

With vegetable slaw and sauce tartar

Prince Edward Island Mussels with French fries, Mariniere-garlic, parsley, white wine broth or Provencale-garlic, tomato, basil sauce

Leeks, roasted potatoes, mushroom truffle sauce

*Stuffed Chicken Breast

With cranberries and goat cheese, sautéed spinach, butternut squash risotto cake, truffle balsamic glaze

*Bouef Bourguignon

Beef stew in red wine sauce with mushrooms, carrots, pearl onions and mashed potatoes

*½ Roasted duck (+$5)

Apple parsnip puree, sautéed spinach and soy orange sauce
