Annual RVC 5K, 10K And Fun Run Set For Nov. 11

The Village of Rockville Centre's annual 5K, 10K and Family Fun Run is coming up in less than a month.

The race is scheduled for Nov. 11, rain or shine. The one-mile Fun Run will start at 8 a.m. sharp, followed by the 5K and 10K at 9 a.m. sharp. The races all begin at Front Street in Rockville Centre, by the LIRR station, and take different routes through the village.

Pre-registration for the race is a must. Fun Run registration is $10, 5K is $25, and the 10K is $30. After Nov. 4, the prices for the 5K and 10 Kgo up by $5. Seniors are only $15.

No baby joggers, strollers, bicycles, skates, rollerblades or pets are allowed in the races. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in many different categories.
