Arrests

On Sept. 26 at 9:21 a.m., Ronald L. Stevenson, 54, of Terrace Avenue, Hempstead, was arrested and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of S. Village Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On Sept. 27 at 8:08 p.m., Jahmani K. Kinch, 25, of Caney Road, Rosedale was arrested and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of marijuana, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

On Sept. 28 at 11:01 a.m., Avraham Korngold, 36, of Washington Avenue, Cedarhurst, was arrested and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway and N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On Oct. 3 at 12:50 a.m., William J. Taylor, 26, of E. Ticonderoga Drive, Westerville, Ohio, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Robbery

On Sept. 27 at 7:18 a.m., a man from Bayview Avenue, Freeport. reported that at approximately 5:45 a.m. two unknown men displayed a handgun and stole $700 from him while he was parking his car in Municipal Parking Field No. 3, Rockville Centre.

Assault

On Sept. 30 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a man from Pavilion Court, Southold, reported that he was at FHOO Sushi, located 294 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, when he was involved in a disturbance inside of the restaurant. He sustained injuries and was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Larceny

On Sept. 30 at 2:50 a.m., an employee of 7-Eleven, located at 324 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre, reported that two unknown men stole a $5 lottery ticket from.

On Oct.1 at 3:50 a.m., the owner of North Village Tavern, located at 40 North Village Ave. in Rockville Centre, reported that two men purchased drinks and charged $40 with a declined credit card that was left at the scene.

Unusual Incidents

On Sept. 27 at 11:45 a.m., a woman from Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre reported that a former girlfriend from Fountain Avenue, Rockville Centre obtained a CapitalOne credit card account using her personal information and made $300 in unauthorized transactions.

On Sept. 29 at 11 a.m., a man from Windsor Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone made an unauthorized Western Union charge for $2,953.99 against his Citibank debit account.

On Sept. 30 at 8:52 a.m., a man from South Kensington Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone made unauthorized purchases against his Discover credit card account totaling $11,307.14.

On Oct. 2 at 6:50 p.m., a man from Seaman Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone wired $900 from his Chase bank account to Mexico and deactivated a Verizon cell phone without authorization.

Criminal Mischief

On Sept. 30 at 2:33 a.m., the owner of Clean Vapor, located at 288 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, reported that someone damaged a glass side window valued at $1,500.

Harassment

On Sept. 26 at 11:50 a.m., a woman from North Long Beach Road, Rockville Centre reported that a man from Merrick Road, Rockville Centre was sending her text messages causing annoyance and alarm.
