Arrest Made in Baldwin Bank Robbery

Police say a 29-year-old man robbed a bank in November. He was arrested Tuesday.

A Suffolk County man was arrested at his home early Tuesday and charged with robbing a Nassau County bank in November, Nassau Police said.

Marcus L. Palmer, 29, of 450 Moreland Road in Commack, is charged with one count of third degree robbery. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.

According to police, Palmer entered the Capital One bank located at 2303 Grand Avenue in Baldwin at 5:43 p.m. on Nov. 17, approached a teller and handed her a demand note for money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, Palmer fled the bank through the rear door, police said. No one was injured during the robbery.

Palmer was wearing a fake beard at the time of the robbery, police said.
