Arrest

On Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 2:21 p.m., Miguel Lopez, 47, and Marisol Radwan, 38, both of Findlay Avenue, Bronx, were arrested and charged with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

On Thursday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m., Joseph Capone, 21, of Gordon Road, Valley Stream was arrested and charged with third degree criminal mischief and third degree assault following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

Assault

On Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 5:30 a.m., a woman from Bellmore reported that she was walking in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre when a female acquaintance reached out of a moving vehicle and grabbed her arm dragging her approximately 100 feet, resulting in contusions and lacerations to her arms, legs and back.

On Thursday, Aug. 25 at 3 a.m., two Oceanside residents reported being assaulted by an unknown person while in the vicinity of N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Larceny

On Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 7:45 p.m., a man from Brower Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone stole his daughter’s bicycle from their side yard.

On Friday, Aug. 26 at 4:10 p.m., a man from Hilton Avenue, Hempstead reported that on Aug. 24 between 4 and 6 p.m., someone stole a LG G4 cell phone valued at $306 and cell phone charger from the vicinity of Lister Field, Rockville Centre.

On Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10:36 a.m., a man from East 6th Street, New York City reported that someone stole a white Cannondale Synapse racing bicycle valued at $809.99 and helmet from the side yard of a N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre residence.

On Sunday, Aug. 28 at 2:10 p.m., a bicycle was reported stolen from in front of 241 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

On Monday, Aug. 28 at 10 p.m., a complainant from Powell Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone stole a 2013 silver Schwinn bicycle valued at $250 from the vicinity of the Rockville Centre Library, located at 221 N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Fire

On Saturday, Aug. 27 at 4:06 p.m., police and Rockville Centre Fire Department personnel responded to a vacant Heyward Lane residence for a reported fire in the vicinity of the garage. The fire was extinguished by fire personnel at scene.

Property Damage

On Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 1:50 a.m., a commuter reported that his vehicle parked in the vicinity of Front Street, Rockville Centre was damaged by unknown means.

Unusual Incident

On Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m., a woman from Virginia Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that someone used her identity to open two credit card accounts without her authorization.
