
BALDWIN, NY - A duo robbed a Baldwin deli at gunpoint as it was closing on Thursday night, according to Nassau Police.
As four employees (two men ages 23, 19 and two women ages 32, 25) were closing the United Deli on 590 West Seaman Avenue at about 9:19 p.m., they were forced back inside by two robbers, police said.
The first robber was armed with a black handgun and demanded the 23-year-old man to open the register, police said.

The man complied and placed an undisclosed amount of cash and a Dell laptop into the robber's backpack.
The two robbers then fled southbound on Pine Street, police said. No injuries are reported at this time.

The first robber is described as man in his mid 20’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, mask, and gloves.
The second robber is described as having a thin build, mid 20’s wearing pink striped pants, dark hooded sweatshirt, mask, gloves and a blue backpack.
Detectives ask anyone with information about the crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
