ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A bank was robbed on Sunday in Rockville Centre. Police said a man entered the TD Bank on Merrick Road just before 11:30 a.m. and gave a note to a teller demanding cash. After placing an undisclosed amount in a white bag, the man fled on foot, heading west on Merrick Road, detectives said. No injuries were reported and no weapons were displayed, according to police. Anyone who has information on the bank robbery is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
