ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- The region is preparing for blizzard conditions Saturday, with over a foot of snow expected in the Rockville Centre area.

Conditions are expected to deteriorate Saturday morning, with the biggest snowfall and wind gusts (up to 50 mph) likely Saturday afternoon and evening. Coastal flood warnings and watches are also in effect for large portions of Long Island.
