It takes place on Friday from 1-7 p.m.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A Rockville Centre blood drive is being held in honor of a former South Side High School student.

Anthony Petrocelli was 14 years old when he was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. He relied heavily on blood transfusions for the next two years until losing his battle with cancer in 2019.

Petrocelli's family and friends encourage the Rockville Centre community to give blood and save a life in his memory.
