ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — With snow on the way, the Rockville Centre Recreation Center is using this time for a winter weather donation drive. They are accepting boots and pants, so when children want to play in the snow this weekend, "their feet and legs will stay warm and dry," the Recreation Center said on Facebook. The dropoff box is located in the center's lobby until Friday at 5 p.m. The recreation center is not seeking coats at this time. Nassau County could see up to a foot of snow by Saturday evening.
