Rockville Centre’s “Community Garden”
The RVC Conservancy is sponsoring the first of a series of garden workshops this Saturday June 22 at 10 AM at the Community Garden located on Jefferson Avenue (at the intersection of Water Street, just behind Associated).

The Garden is the joint project with Molloy College’s Sustainability Institute, where residents have joined to plant their edible gardens. This week RVC’s own Maggie Gray, proprietor of New Leaf, will present a Composting Workshop for the general public. New Leaf is a local business that creates and designs sustainable artisan gardens for leisure and learning, Maggie is a horticultural specialist at the Long Island Children’s Museum.
