Couple Broke Into Cars, Used Credit Cards They Stole: Police
Police are looking for the duo, who they say broke into at least three cars this week.

Police are searching for a couple that they say broke into multiple cars in Rockville Centre on Wednesday and used credit cards they stole to make purchases.
According to police, a woman parked her 2017 Hyundai Tuscan behind Sportset Health and Fitness, located at 40 Maple Ave., at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. When she returned to her car about an hour later, she found the rear passenger window was smashed, and a wallet, cash, credit cards and pocket book were stolen.
A short time later, police say a couple entered CVS, located at 668 Sunrise Highway in Baldwin, and used one of the woman's credit cards.

Police say that around the same time, a 2017 Acura parked at 100 Hempstead Ave. had the front passenger window shattered, and a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox parked on Ohio Street had the front passenger window shattered and a handbag, watch and gift certificates stolen from inside. POlice say a four-door Nissan sedan, blue-gray in color, was seen near each location.
The man has a medium build and was wearing a dark-colored jacket, hat, blue jeans and black sneakers. The woman also has a medium build and was wearing a black jacket, gray pants and white sneakers.

Police ask anyone with information about these incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
