Crime Report: Burglary, 3 Assaults Last Week in Rockville Centre

The following information was supplied by Rockville Centre Police.

Burglary

On Sept. 1 at 12:00 AM, a complainant from Seaman Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that a family member had entered the residence without permission and removed property that included jewelry.

Assault

On Aug. 30 at 2:50 AM, a complainant from Sportsman Avenue, Freeport reported that while in the vicinity of Municipal Parking Field #1 an unknown male assaulted him with a glass bottle resulting in facial lacerations.

On Aug. 31 at 2:00 AM, a complainant from Columbus Parkway, Mineola reported that she was assaulted by a male employee resulting in a minor head injury while at the Beach House Bar 21 S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On Aug. 31 at 5:06 AM, a complainant from Capitolian Boulevard, Rockville Centre reported that she sustained minor injuries following a fare dispute with a taxi driver while in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway and Oceanside Road, Rockville Centre.

Harassment

On Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 3:48 AM, a complainant from Rodney Place, Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) placed garbage on the front lawn without permission.

Property Damage

On Monday, Aug. 25 at 4:30 PM, a complainant from Cedar Street, Roosevelt reported that rear driver side to a 2014 Nissan motor vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked at Mercy Medical Center 1000 N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre between 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM.
