Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st AD) today visited St. Agnes School to read to students from Mrs. Gibbons’ 2nd grade class for the school’s 15th Annual Community Readers’ Day. Curran commended St. Agnes School for their dedication to enriching students’ lives through reading, and said it was a joy to speak to such intelligent and engaging students.

“As a father, I always appreciate the opportunity to speak with students and contribute to their education in any way I can,” said Curran. “After reading to Mrs. Gibbons’ 2nd grade class, I was inspired at how bright, insightful, and enthusiastic our children can be. Teachers and parents alike should be very proud of this class of future leaders. I’m grateful for schools like St. Agnes that understand the importance of reading in molding young minds and for making it a top priority.”
