Dangerous Drivers Taken Off The Road: Rockville Centre Police

The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending March 11.
Graffiti
On March 8 at 9:50 p.m., a police officer found graffiti along the railings at the Demott Avenue walk bridge. Various lettering in orange and yellow paint was observed.

Larceny from Auto
On March 5 at 5:43 a.m., a resident from Bradford Court was notified that Nassau County Police Department recovered three of his credit cards that were previously stolen from his vehicle that was parked on Bradford Court. Isaiah Byner, 22, of Ramsen Avenue, Hempstead, was arrested by Nassau police and charged with possession of stolen credit cards.

On March 9 at 7:09 p.m., a Lynbrook resident reported when she returned to her car in Municipal Parking Field 1, the front passenger window was broken and a bag containing her Microsoft Laptop worth $1,300 had been stolen.
Leaving the Scene
On March 7 at 5:48 p.m., a driver reported his vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while it was parked on Sunrise Highway.
Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle
On March 6 at 1:30 p.m., the manager of a truck rental company reported a 2018 GMC Sierra valued at $30,000 had been rented and not returned.
Arrests
On March 5 at 2:45 p.m., Elvi D. Rodriguez, 35, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and unregistered vehicle following a traffic stop in Municipal Parking Field 1.
On March 7 at 1:05 p.m., Elvis Gomez Reyes, 27, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, registration plate violation and a tail light violation following an investigation during a vehicle stop on Merrick Road.
On March 9 at 11:58 a.m., Davonte T. Parker, 25, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving without a license and a New York City arrest warrant for falsely reporting an incident, following an accident investigation on Sunrise Highway.
