Man Killed In 2-Car Nassau Collision: Police

BALDWIN, NY — A serious car crash killed one person Tuesday morning in Baldwin, according to police.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Carl Avenue at approximately 5:15 a.m.

One driver, a 66-year-old man, died at the scene. The other driver, a 31-year-old female, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police are investigating. Anyone with information regarding the crash can call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours.
