Delivery Driver Attacked And Robbed In Nassau
Police say the attacker paid for the food with counterfeit money, and then hit the driver with a pipe when confronted.

A Domino's delivery driver was robbed and attacked while delivering food in Baldwin Tuesday night, and police are looking for his attacker.
According to police, the driver was delivering food to a home on Stratford Road in Baldwin at 8:20 p.m. and was approached by a a teen who looked about 17-years-old who tried to pay for the food with a counterfeit $100 bill. After the delivery driver gave the teen $62 in change, he realized the bill was counterfeit and confronted the teen about it. Police say the teen hit the driver in the head with a metal pipe, and then the driver saw two other people running from the back of the home.
The driver ran back to his car and yelled for a person across the street to call police. He was later taken to a hospital for a cut to his head.
