Dinosaur Carnival Roams Rockville Centre Science Exhibit
The Center for Science hosts the fair for five days during the last week of the year.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — It's not all about the reindeer this holiday season.
For a different experience, children and families can visit the Center for Science with its Dinosaur Carnival in Rockville Centre.
There will be games, face painting, giveaways and, of course, plenty of dinosaurs.

The Dinosaurs! and Live Animals Exhibit is the only family tourist and educational attraction of its kind on Long Island.
It gives visitors a unique and up-close-and-personal experience where they can learn how animals adapt and survive, which is demonstrated through a unique combination of dinosaur models and live animals.

The end-of-year carnival runs Monday, Dec. 26-31 (it's closed on Dec. 28).
"Through the exhibit’s Dinosaur displays, children and their parents can engage in various activities while learning about the adaptation and evolution of dinosaurs and animals that live right around us today," said Dr. Ray Ann Havasy, Executive Director of The Center for Science.
Tickets can be paid at the door: $12 for children 2-13 and seniors over 65. Visitors 14 and older will pay $15.
