Drunk Driver Arrested After Crash: Rockville Centre Police

The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending Feb. 25.

Criminal Mischief

On Feb. 21 at 4:33 p.m., a driver reported her car bumper was damaged while it was parked in the lot of a store on Sunrise Highway.

Larceny

On Feb. 22 at 2:25 p.m., a driver reported someone broke her car window and stole her purse from her car while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 1 near Sunrise Highway.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Feb. 23 at 12:52 a.m., a driver reported her car was struck by another car that left the scene while she was driving on Peninsula Boulevard.

Arrest

On Feb. 23 at 12:36 a.m., Lenny C. Rhymer, 23, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after police say he was involved in a car crash on Lincoln Avenue.
