Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On March 15 at 12:45 p.m., a driver reported her vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while it was parked on N. Centre Avenue.

Arrests

On March 15 at 11:34 p.m., Octavia Watts, 29, of Jamaica Estates, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief during a disturbance on N. Park Avenue.

On March 16 at 1:08 p.m., Kevin Samuels, 47, of Laurelton, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and three traffic offenses after he was observed driving on Merrick Road.

On March 16 at 8:45 p.m., Paula Watson, 26, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with DWI and third-degree assault after she struck a pedestrian in a parking field near Sunrise Highway. The pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.
