An elderly man was robbed while sitting in his car in Rockville Centre early Tuesday morning.  According to detectives, the 73-year-old man was sitting inside his car that was parked in Municipal Parking Lot 3 at 5:45 a.m. when he was approached by two other men. The first subject was described as a black man, approximately 45 years old, wearing a black hoodie. He was armed with a black handgun that he pointed at the victim and demanded money, detectives said. The elderly man handed over an undetermined amount of cash. There is no description for the second male subject.    Detectives request anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
