NASSAU COUNTY, NY — As voters head to the polls, here is a look at some of the races across Nassau County.
All 19 county legislators are on the ballot, while a few supervisors are seeking another term: Republican Joseph Saladino in Oyster Bay, who is opposed by Democrat Jared Behr.
North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena (Republican) is challenged by Jon Kaiman (Democrat).

Republican Don Clavin is running for reelection as the Town of Hempstead supervisor. Democrat Olena Nicks is the challenger.
Other races of note, former Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos looks to become the next mayor of Glen Cove. He faces incumbent Republican Pamela Panzenbeck.
