South Nassau will be conducting a FREE Head and Neck Screening Day located in Conference Center A&B at the hospital.
There are thousands of new cases of head and neck cancer each year, many of which can be cured, if found early.
Who should attend the screening? Any adults who smoke, drink, or spend a lot of time in the sun. Also, adults who notice any of the following warning signs: frequent nose bleeds, persistent sores in the mouth, constant earaches, lasting changes in voice or a lump in their neck.
