Mitzvah Day at Central Synagogue of Nassau County, A Reform Congregation.
This year, Central Synagogue’s Mitzvah Day is aligned with the theme of health and nutrition. We will have activities for young children, youth, and adults, including:
- Introduction to yoga;
- Cooking demonstration and a healthy snack sampling;
- Hands-on arts & crafts activities;
- Read–alouds, music/movement workshop for little ones;
- Informational session on the NYS Health Exchanges and the new Health Care Legislation
