Fire Fighters Break Down Door To Save Resident: RVC Police

The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending June 3.

Larceny

  • On May 31 at 9:58 a.m., a Rockville Centre resident reported the license plate on his boat trailer was stolen while the trailer was parked in the driveway of his home on Schuyler Avenue.

Harassment

  • On May 30 at 4:20 p.m., a Rockville Centre resident reported he was receiving threatening text messages from an unknown person.

Property Damage

  • On May 31 at 1:33 p.m., Rockville Centre police received a medical alert from a resident on Bulson Road who was in need of assistance, but could not get to the door to open it. The Rockville Centre Fire Department forced entry into the home and provided the necessary assistance with the police department.
  • On June 2 at 10:10 p.m., a resident on Aldred Avenue reported a tree fell into his house, causing damage to the roof.

  • On May 27 at 5:52 p.m., a Rockville Centre resident reported that while his car was parked on North Village Avenue, it was struck by another vehicle which then left the scene.
  • On May 30 at 1:59 p.m., a resident of Fresh Meadows reported that while her vehicle was parked in a private lot on Merrick Road, it was struck by another vehicle which left the left the scene.
