Funeral Held For Victim In Freak Accident At Wantagh Car Repair Shop

WANTAGH, NY — Police identified the victim of a fatal crash involving colleagues at a car repair shop last week in Wantagh.

Daniel Cicio, 32, of Levittown, was killed when he was struck by a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 20-year-old co-worker at the Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge service center.

A GoFundMe was created following the Oct. 19 accident. It has received more than $6,000 through Tuesday morning.

After visitations on Sunday and Monday, the funeral was scheduled for Tuesday at the Charles O'Shea Funeral Home on Wantagh Avenue.
