Funeral Set For LI Student Stabbed To Death At University Of Buffalo

BALDWIN, NY — Funeral arraignments are complete for a Baldwin 19-year-old who was stabbed to death earlier this month at the University of Buffalo.

The funeral for Tyler Lewis, 19, from Baldwin, will be held on Saturday at Union Baptist Church in Hempstead, according to the Buffalo News.

Lewis, a student at SUNY Buffalo State, was killed on Oct. 14 at the campus of the University of Buffalo.

While no one was arrested in the case, police did quickly announce they had identified a person of interest, The Buffalo News reported.

University police told the newspaper they are "making real progress."

Lewis was a pre-business administration major.
