Larceny

On Oct. 9 at 9:13 p.m., a resident of Allen Road reported two packages were stolen from her front porch during the day.

On Oct. 13 at 5:08 p.m., a Shepherd Street resident reported a bicycle was stolen from her garage during the afternoon.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Oct. 9 at 8:57 a.m., a driver reported that his 2012 Toyota Camry, parked in a lot on Hempstead Avenue, was struck by another vehicle which left the scene.

Fire

On Oct. 11 at 1:28 a.m., a Raymond Street resident reported his neighbor’s detached garage was on fire. The fire caused damage to the garage, a 2017 Nissan Rogue parked inside, and a garage of a residence on Burtis Avenue. The fire was extinguished by the Rockville Centre Fire Department.

Arrests

On Oct. 8 at 12:58 p.m., Brent Blackman, 49, of Coolidge Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with suspended registration, operating an uninsured vehicle and other vehicle and traffic law offenses during an investigation on Sunrise Highway.

On Oct. 12 at 7:38 p.m., Sukhjinder Singh, 20, of New Hyde Park, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle and unlicensed operation during an investigation on Lakeside Drive.

On Oct. 13 at 12:54 p.m., Patrick Montes, 42, of Elmont, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and four traffic offenses after he was observed driving on Sunrise Highway.

On Oct. 14 at 8:33 p.m., Maurice T. Archer, 39, of Laurelton, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was allegedly observed causing a disturbance on Peninsula Boulevard.
