Gunman Causes Panic At Nassau Bar

Police say a man pulled a gun and pointed it into the bar, but did not fire.

Nassau police are searching for a man who caused a panic in Baldwin early Sunday morning when he pulled a gun outside of a bar.

According to police, a 33-year-old man was working at the Grandstand Pub, located at 1177 Grand Ave., when he saw a man walking by the front of the bar. The employee said he saw the man point a black handgun into the bar through the front windows. The employee immediately locked the doors and called police. The man left the scene in a silver SUV. No one was injured.

The gunman was 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask and a red T-shirt.
