Hanukkah Celebrating In Rockville Centre This Week
The community menorah lighting takes place on Wednesday night.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Residents are encouraged to join the menorah lighting for the midway point of Hanukkah on Wednesday.
The community menorah will light candles to mark the Jewish holiday's fourth night.
On Monday, Rabbi Michael Cohen of Central Synagogue of Nassau County and Rabbi David Lerner of Congregation B'nai Sholom-Beth David helped celebrate the National Council of Jewish Women's Annual Hanukkah Party. Rockville Centre Mayor Francis Murray was also in attendance.
