Holiday Lights Contest Resumes In Rockville Centre

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Don't let the unseasonably warm weather fool you. Winter is just around the corner and so is Christmas.

Instead of just displaying your holiday lights, the Village of Rockville Centre is hosting its third-annual event for a sense of community.

Owners are encouraged to dust off the colorful lights for the neighborhood competition.

Homes must be registered by Dec. 5 to participate in the contest, which has five categories including "Best Block."

Voting will take place at rvcny.gov from Dec. 9-14.
