Homeless Man Screamed At Kids, Tried To Break Into Day Care: NCPD
Police say he used a construction cone to try to break a window and get into the day care center.

BALDWIN, NY — A homeless man was arrested after he screamed at children and then tried to break into a day care center in Baldwin Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, Kevin Johnson, 40, was screaming obscenities at children and teachers outside of Learn and Play Day Care Center, located at 2163 Grand Ave. The teachers brought the children inside and then, police say, Johnson pulled the door and grabbed an orange construction cone and used it to try to smash the front window of the building in order to get in. Johnson fled the scene on foot when a teacher called police.
He was arrested a short time later without incident.
