Honorary Rockville Centre Fire Chief Honored
Joseph Lagudi was honored for his decades of service in the RVCFD
From The Town of Hempstead: Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillen honored Rockville Centre Fire Department Honary Chief Joseph Lagudi for his outstanding work to the community at the Firematic Service Awards Ceremony at Town Hall on November 29.
Chief Lagudi has been a member of Defender Hose Company 1 for the past forty-six years. He has earned the respect and admiration of all the members of his company and department. Hon. Chief Joseph Lagudi was elected to membership in Defender Hose Company No. l on June l, 1972. Joe has always been an active member of the Department serving in a variety of roles as a firefighter, chauffeur, company officer and committee member.
