ICYMI: Sloth Exhibit Owner 'Going Nowhere' Despite Mistreatment Claims
Larry Wallach said he's never been charged or arrested for animal abuse.
HAUPPAUGE, NY — The owner of Sloth Encounters, an exhibit with petting and holding sloths, spoke to Patch about claims that he mistreats the animals.
"I've been doing this for over 45 years," Wallach said. "I have permits. I have never been arrested, charged with any animal abuse-- ever, never."
One of Wallach's leading opponents is John DiLeonardo with Humane Long Island.
