ICYMI: Students, Boy Scouts Give Hempstead Lake Park A Cleanup

More than 75 bags of garbage were gathered at the community event.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — There was a major cleanup for Hempstead Lake Park and the surrounding RVC Complex. County Executive Laura Curran joined State Senator Todd Kaminsky and Assemblywoman Judy Griffin in assembling dozens of residents and volunteers to assist.

Students from Wilson Elementary and various Boy Scout troops collected more than 75 bags of garbage last weekend.
