Our staff of 60 to 110 employees (seasonally) wants to make your cycling and home fitness experiences as convenient and enjoyable as possible. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. OCEANSIDE, NY — Two men face charges connected to illegally selling cannabis gummies and vape cartridges containing THC. Detectives entered Zee's Smoke Shop at 2895 Long Beach Rd. A large quantity of THC and cash were recovered. Nofil Navid, 20, of Elmhurst, Queens was taken into custody, police said. Also on Thursday, detectives entered Oceanside Star Bazzar Smoke Shop at 2947 Long Beach Rd. At that location, it was determined that chocolate bars containing THC were being sold. The recovered THC and cash. Carlos Mejia, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested. Mejia and Navid were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled possession. They were expected to be arraigned on Friday, authorities said.
