iSchool of Music + Art Celebrates 10 Years!
iSchool will host a celebration with light food and drink for everyone to attend. Open house will follow with musical activities.
iSchool of Music is celebrating 10 years in Port Washington this September and everyone is invited on Saturday, August 29th, at 11am for light food and drink. Our open house will follow at 12 noon with musical activities such as glee club, drum circles and complimentary lessons. to Please RSVP to participate in any of the activities. iSchool is the leading after-school music education center in the area that features all acoustic pianos, state of the art equipment and, of course, a faculty that is diverse, friendly and passionate about music. In 2005, iSchool was one of the first music education centers to offer a trendy facility featuring rock bands and performances at historic venues such as the Bitter End, Mulcahy’s and Landmark on Main Street. Earlier this year iSchool students toured Beijing, China, for 10 days and is the first music school in Long Island to tour China.
Ken Benshish and Yi Qian, both professional musicians with advanced music degrees, founded iSchool with the idea that learning music can be enjoyable and inspire students by teaching modern music with traditional methods. iSchool has additional locations in Port Washington and Syosset, Long Island.
