On Oct. 23 at 11:19 a.m., a N. Village Avenue resident reported an iPad and a keyboard case were stolen from her unlocked car while it was parked in her driveway overnight.

On Oct. 24 at 12:35 p.m., driver reported his work vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while it was parked in a lot on Merrick Road during the afternoon.

Arrests
On Oct. 23 at 12:09 p.m., Michael Oliver, 29, of Fonda Road, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia after an investigation by Rockville Centre police, the US Postial Inspection Service, the FBI and the DEA.
On Oct. 24 at 11:54 a.m., Jose A. Lugo Jr., 27, of Mastic, was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance during an investigation on Sunrise Highway.
On Oct. 25 at 10:42 a.m., Robert R. Rivera-Torres, 29, of Roosevelt, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt for violating an order of protection on Lincoln Avenue.
On Oct. 28 at 1:11 p.m., Dianne Christian, 54, of Grand Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with petty larceny after a shoplifting investigation at a supermarket on Sunrise Highway.
