Kaminsky to Host Diploma Options Forum
Many state education officials will be on-hand to answer parents' questions.

On Feb. 7, Senator Todd Kaminsky will host a forum at South Side High School in Rockville Centre on providing diploma options for students. Senate Minority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, along with key officials from Albany and a bipartisan group of legislators, will be on hand to hear from parents, students and teachers about how every child should be given the opportunity to earn a New York State high school diploma.

- Christopher Suriano, Assistant Commissioner of the Office of Special Education, New York State Education Department

- Assemblywoman Shelley Mayer, Chair of the Assembly Subcommittee on Students with Special Needs
- Assemblywoman Melissa "Missy" Miller
- Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at South Side High School, located at 140 Shepherd St.
