ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — State Senator Todd Kaminsky released his first digital ad for Nassau District Attorney.

The ad, which will be posted on Facebook, details Kaminsky's past as a prosecutor with a focus on rooting out drug and gun traffickers, combating the opioid epidemic and addressing corruption in both parties, his campaign said.

The two-minute video also highlights how Kaminsky was one of the few Democrats to push back on the "defund the police" movement.

"In my career, I’ve spent the late nights at the precincts, working hand-in-glove with our police officers to keep New York safe. I’ve spent the long weeks in the courtrooms, on trials, keeping New York corruption free," Kaminsky said at the start of the video.

Kaminsky announced his candidacy last month after Madeline Singas was confirmed as a judge on the state Court of Appeals.
