Congratulations to Senior Kyle DeVerna on being named to Newsday's Second Team All Long Island.
The 6-foot-2 senior guard led the Firebirds in scoring with 22 points per game, while also averaging six rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. DeVerna, who had 48 3-pointers, had one triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 72-58 win at Trinity Catholic in late December. Kyle also scored his 1,000 point this past season.
