Leaf Collection Scheduled Starts Monday In Rockville Centre
The special recycling program is being coordinated based on location.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — As the wind blows, leaves cover the ground. To help clear the foliage, the village of Rockville Centre is holding its autumn clean-up.
Beginning on Mon., Nov. 15 and lasting until Fri., Dec. 10, bagged leaves will be picked up at the curb.
The village has designated locations and dates for collection.

- On Mondays: North of Sunrise Highway (between Hempstead Avenue and North Long Beach Road)
- Tuesdays: North of Sunrise Highway (East of Long Beach Road)
- Thursdays: North of Sunrise Highway (West of Hempstead Avenue)
- Fridays: South of Sunrise Highway
All leaves should be placed in clear, plastic bags, the village wrote on its website.
