LI Bank Robbery, Man Flees On Foot: Police

BALDWIN, NY — A bank was robbed on Tuesday afternoon and police are seeking the person responsible.

Just before 4 p.m., a man entered the Capital One Bank on Grand Avenue, verbally demanding money. showing a note to a teller and flashing a gun, detectives said.

The teller handed an undisclosed amount of cash and the man fled on foot, according to police.

There were seven employees and one customer in the bank at the time. No one was injured, police said.
